NEW PIGEON PARK ALBUM…

We are officially finished the tracking for the new album due out sometime next year!!! We decided to take a step outside of the ordinary of going into the studio and instead turned our house into our own studio and flew in our producer from Ontario. We rented over $25,000 in equipment and immediately started experimenting and playing with sounds in different rooms all over the house. We finished the tracking in ten days and are now sending off a portion of the songs to be mixed (reason being we just came off tour and literally cant afford to do it all right now). We will be releasing the single off the album as an itunes exclusive in the next couple months. Its sounding great and were all super stoked to have something new for you to sik your ears into. Tour Is Over… Recording Begins

So we’ve been back in our hometown of Vancouver now for about two weeks. We finished the “Band of Gypsies Tour” with our good friends Gypsy Chief Goliath from Ontario and the feeling is kind of bittersweet. Its good to be home but at the same time living on the road is somethin else. But with every ending is a new beginning and in this case this ending brings us the birth of a brand new Pigeon Park album…

Al “The Yeti Bones” Petrovich of Gypsy Chief Goliath flew in last weekend to produce the album from the Pigeon Park house, We wrapped up drums today and now were moving on to bass. Later in the week we start on guitars and vocals and we officially finish tracking on Sunday September 18th. After that we send the album off to be mixed by Jordan Oorebek, lots of exciting things happening right now. In a couple months we will be releasing a single off the album so keep an eye out for that, you wont want to miss it…
